Life Update! Been a hot minute since I've written to my blog. But hey I'm here now and that's what matters. Anyways..... my art has not been selling as much as I was hoping it would. I'm not complaining because I know it's a long waiting game... but damn. I guess I just need to be patient with the audience that I'm trying to attract.
I hope to soon be able to fund my next big project and endeavor: Tapestries and Wall Scrolls. I am so excited to get to work on this because of the idea that the visuals I create will be in a bigger format.
Although this is good news and branching out is good, I do want you all to know that its not easy creating these concepts. I put a lot of thought and work into bringing you guys a new piece. I create these pictures because I need to express myself in a way that doesn't tell a story but sparks a feeling. If you look at a picture and immediately know how it makes you feel then I have done my job right. I am looking to build something big, beautiful and impossible to knock down. I love what I do, it brings me real joy... however what brings me more joy is the happiness I see when someone receives one of MY works. I fill with pride, love and passion. It only encourages me to advance forward with strength.
